Pit-Mounted Mechanical Dock Levelers for Trailer Loading and Unloading

Pit-mounted mechanical dock levelers provide a durable loading dock solution for bridging the height gap between the dock floor and trailer bed. Designed for warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, freight terminals, and shipping departments, these pull-chain dock levelers help improve loading efficiency while supporting smooth forklift and pallet truck traffic during trailer loading and unloading.

Heavy-Duty Mechanical Operation

A spring operated pull-chain design provides dependable mechanical activation with minimal maintenance requirements. The heavy-duty diamond plate deck and steel channel understructure deliver long-term support for demanding dock environments, while the 16 inch lip helps create a stable transition into trailers.

Service Range and Safety Features

These dock levelers provide a vertical service range of 12 inches above and 12 inches below dock height. Telescopic side-mounted toe guards help cover openings through the service range, and laminated dock bumpers are included to help protect the dock face. Structural welding meets AWS standards. Complies with CS 202-56, OSHA and ANSI MH14.5

Sizes, Capacities, and Installation Options

This family includes 6 foot and 7 foot wide models in multiple lengths, with standard 20,000 lb. gross rolling load capacity and higher capacities available by contacting the factory. Options include weather stripping, emergency stop, shallow pit configuration, under-deck foam insulation, longer lips, front-of-dock leg kits, curb angle sets, and steel shells for pour-in-place installation. Installation should meet applicable state and local codes.
